CSIRO is Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, one of the world's largest and most diverse scientific research institutions. With a staff of more than 6000, CSIRO conducts some 10% of Australia's total R&D effort, including about 12% of the R&D contracted out by industry.
The Hearne Scientific Software CSIRO commercialisation program aims to bring Technical, Scientific and Research software, developed in collaboration between CSIRO, Hearne Scientific Software and other research institutions, to the world wide market.
