AccuRate Sustainability FAQ

1. How many installations are permitted?

AccuRate Sustainability is licensed on a ‘per user’ basis NOT a ‘per computer’ basis. Each user of AccuRate Sustainability requires their own license. Each registered user of AccuRate Sustainability can install the program on (1) primary computer and (1) portable/home computer under the following conditions:
•    The same person is the only user of both installations
•    Only one installation is in use at any one time
•    The second license expires at the same time as the primary license

2. Can I install the software on a network server?

No, AccuRate Sustainability is not available as a network license. A separate license is required for each user of AccuRate Sustainability. Multi-user discounts are available.

3. Is there a student license available?

No, AccuRate Sustainability is not available in a student version. However, educational institutions can purchase heavily discounted classroom licenses, for students to use in a computer lab environment. Under some circumstances, TAFE and University students may be eligible for academic discounts.

4. How do I access program updates?

All AccuRate Sustainability license holders are eligible to receive all software updates and upgrade FREE of charge, during their license term. AccuRate 1.1.4.1 license holders are not eligible for AccuRate Sustainability software updates and are required to purchase a license for AccuRate Sustainability.

5. What happens when my license term ends?

Towards the end of your license term, Hearne will send a license renewal notice to the registered user of the software, providing instructions for license renewal. If you do not renew the license, you must stop using the software and/or the software will revert to demonstration mode.

6. I want to re-activate my expired license. How can I do this?

If you have overlooked your license renewal notice or you did not receive it, please contact Hearne on (03) 9020 5730 to arrange the license renewal. In some cases we may be able to arrange a temporary license to keep you operational.

In order to reactivate an expired license, you will need to back-pay the renewal to cover the lapsed period. If your license has been expired for more than one year, it may be less expensive to purchase a new license.

7. I have not purchased the Premium Support option. What assistance can I access?
